Awards provide students with an opportunity to be educated. So for helping students, the University of Sydney is providing International PhD Scholarships in Opioid Policy and Use in Indonesia.  The educational program is open for the academic session 2022-2023. This educational award is open to support students from all nationalities who want to enroll in postgraduate research degree programs at the University of Sydney are eligible. The University of Sydney is a public research university ranked 38th in QS Global World Rankings and 27th in Best Global Universities. Founded in 1850 as Australia’s first University, it is regarded as one of its leading universities. The University is one of Australia’s six sandstone universities. While studying at this university, students will learn transferable study skills that will help them adjust to and navigate the various positions they will encounter in their careers.

• Eligible Countries: All international students are eligible to apply. 
• Eligible Course or Subjects: Students can apply to any full-time postgraduate coursework or postgraduate research degree at the University of Sydney.
• Eligibility Criteria: To be eligible, the applicants must meet all the following criteria:
• Applicants should hold an Undergraduate Honours degree (First Class) or a First Class Honours Equivalent Undergraduate Degree or a Master’s degree with a substantial research component in a related social science field such as Indonesian Studies, Policy Studies, Public Health, Sociology, Law, or Asian Studies.
• Applicants who hold an undergraduate degree and have relevant research and professional experience may also be considered.
• Applicants must be willing to conduct research on opioid use in Indonesia and related policy concerns with Dr Elisabeth Kramer and Professor Simon Butt.

• Good proficiency in the Indonesian language (minimum requirement of intermediate-level reading and speaking skills)

• Language Requirement: If English is not your first language, you will need to provide proof of your English proficiency before you can commence your studies at the University.

The scholars will receive a $35, 950 p.a. (up to 3.5 years) tuition fee for the duration of their course at the University of Sydney.
