Nhiều trường ngoài công lập ở Hà Nội dự kiến cho học sinh tựu trường năm học mới từ đầu tháng 8, thậm chí có trường đã có chương trình làm quen từ tháng 7.
Một phụ huynh có con năm nay vào lớp 1, Trường Tiểu học Archimedes Academy (quận Cầu Giấy) nói rằng, từ ngày 1/7, học sinh được gọi đến trường tham để gia khoá làm quen kéo dài 1 tháng. Mỗi tuần, học sinh được xếp lịch tham gia các hoạt động theo giáo trình riêng thứ 2 đến thứ 6.
“Bố mẹ đi làm cả ngày, không có thời gian đưa đi chơi, con phải ở nhà cả ngày không tham gia hoạt động gì cũng bí bách, đòi tivi, điện thoại. Do đó, được đến trường vừa học vừa chơi con rất vui, bố mẹ cũng yên tâm. Chưa kể, trước thềm năm học mới, con có thời gian để làm quen bạn và cô giáo rất tốt”, phụ huynh này nói.
Bà Nguyễn Thuý Hằng, Hiệu trưởng Trường Archimedes Academy, nói rằng, theo kế hoạch, đầu tháng 8, học sinh toàn trường sẽ quay lại trường học. Trường sẽ bố trí lượng thời gian hợp lý để cho các khối lớp ôn tập củng cố kiến thức chương trình năm ngoái và học chương trình mới. Riêng lớp 1, nhà trường đón học sinh từ tháng 7 để cho các con làm quen, tham gia các hoạt động trải nghiệm, rèn kỹ năng, rèn luyện thể lực.
Năm ngoái, do COVID-19, trẻ mầm non cũng không được đến trường, nên nề nếp, tác phong khác biệt so với học sinh những năm trước. Do đó, thời gian cô trò làm quen lẫn nhau, rèn nề nếp, kỹ năng này rất quan trọng. Trẻ được giới thiệu từ nhà vệ sinh, nhà ăn, thầy cô giáo, bạn bè…
Tựu trường từ tháng 8
Bà Nguyễn Thị Thuý Liên, Hiệu trưởng Trường Tiểu học Lômônôxốp (quận Nam Từ Liêm), chia sẻ, nhiều phụ huynh có nguyện vọng cho con tựu trường sớm; theo kế hoạch, ngày 31/7, trường sẽ đón học sinh lớp 1 để giáo viên nhận lớp, làm quen với học sinh.
Theo bà Liên, học sinh vào lớp 1 năm nay nhút nhát, kém tự tin hơn hẳn. Riêng học sinh lớp 2-5 sẽ đi học từ ngày 1/8. Trường dự định dành khoảng 3 tuần đầu tháng 8 cho bù đắp kiến thức cho năm học 2021-2022. Tuần trước thềm khai giảng, trường sẽ dạy luôn chương trình năm học mới.
“Năm ngoái, học sinh chỉ học trực tiếp 2 tháng cuối năm, chất lượng đuối hơn rất nhiều. Nhiều em chữ rất xấu nhưng nhà trường vẫn cho nghỉ hè đúng chương trình, kế hoạch của Hà Nội từ cuối tháng 5”, bà Liên nói.
Trường liên cấp Wellspring (Hà Nội) thông tin, đơn vị kết thúc năm học 2021-2022 từ 15/6 và dự định cho học sinh tựu trường từ đầu tháng 8. Trong tháng 8, học sinh sẽ được học định hướng đầu năm và tiến dần đến dạy chương trình mới trước thềm khai giảng năm học mới. Trong 6 tuần nghỉ hè, trường tổ chức các khoá trại hè để học sinh tham gia.
Nhà giáo Nguyễn Xuân Khang, Hiệu trưởng Trường Marie Curie Hà Nội, cho rằng, để chuẩn bị cho năm học mới, các trường cần có khoảng 1 tháng để ôn tập, củng cố kiến thức. Đặc biệt, học sinh đầu cấp có thời gian làm quen với trường, lớp mới, chương trình học để sau khi khai giảng năm học mới, trẻ không mất thời gian bỡ ngỡ, làm quen nữa.
TS Nguyễn Tùng Lâm, Chủ tịch Hội Tâm lý giáo dục Hà Nội, nói rằng, kỳ nghỉ hè trọn vẹn để trẻ được nghỉ ngơi, vui chơi, thoát khỏi căng thẳng, áp lực học tập là rất cần thiết.
Tuy nhiên, với năm học có gần trọn thời gian học sinh học trực tuyến như năm ngoái thì trong năm học mới, các trường cần có ít tuần để tập trung ôn tập kiến thức, tổ chức hoạt động vui chơi. “Thời gian này, các trường không nên dạy trước chương trình mà chỉ đánh giá lại học sinh xem các em thiếu hụt chỗ nào để bù đắp, kèm cặp thêm.
Ngoài ra, các trường cũng cần chú trọng giáo dục kỹ năng sống, rèn cho trẻ các thói quen ở trường để các em đầu cấp không bị bỡ ngỡ”, TS Lâm nói.
